JasTravs Baltic Highlights Tour
This small group tour (no more than 10 guests) has been custom designed based on my recent trip to the region. This pan-Baltic tour travels through three beautiful capitals exploring their history, architecture and food. Don't miss your chance to feel the medieval spirit in Vilnius, be amazed by the true kaleidoscope of architectural styles in Riga and take a walk in Tallinn's old town with its many shops, galleries, and cozy outdoor cafes.

DAY 1: VILNIUS
Arrival in Vilnius with an optional transfer to your hotel. In the early evening we will meet for a welcome drink to kick off our adventures.

DAY 2: VILNIUS
In the morning we will take a walking tour in Vilnius Old Town where we will visit some of the most interesting of the 1,200 medieval buildings and 48 churches. Be sure to carry your passport with you today as you'll have the chance to get an extra stamp as we visit the Užupis district which is known as the independent republic of Vilnius city.
After the sightseeing, we will visit the Hales market where you will have an opportunity to meet local food producers and sellers, ask them questions and bring home the real flavour of Lithuania. We will have the chance to taste local products all according to authentic recipes and tastes cherished by Lithuanian farmers.

DAY 3: TRAKAI
The morning is free to spend at your leisure.
In the afternoon we will drive to Trakai town a historic, picturesque place with a beautiful castle in a middle of the lake. After the tour we will go to an ethnic Karaim restaurant where we will have a hands-on cooking demonstration followed by a traditional dinner as a group.

DAY 4: VILNIUS TO RIGA
On this day we will move to Latvia. On our way we will stop in the Hill of Crosses, one of the most holy sites of Catholic Lithuania. The exact number of crosses is unknown, but estimates put it at about 100.000. After crossing into Latvia we will soon reach our second stop the magnificent Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Following a guided tour of the palace we will travel through the rolling hills of Southern Latvia to reach Riga in the late afternoon.

DAY 5: RIGA
After breakfast the day will start with a walking tour in Riga Old town. Riga is the largest of the three Baltic capitals and boasts a true kaleidoscope of various architectural styles so make sure you wear comfortable walking shoes and your camera batteries are charged.
Your afternoon is free to spend at your leisure.

DAY 6: RIGA – PARNU - TALLINN
After breakfast we will travel to Tallinn with a stop in Estonian summer resort of Parnu. We do a short tour of the resort before we continue through the North Estonian land of forests and arrive in Tallinn in the afternoon.

DAY 7: TALLINN
Today we will explore Tallinn's charming blend of medieval tranquility and modern urban life. In the morning we will do a walking tour of old town and see many of the interesting sites in the city.
After the walking tour we will have a delicious lunch at a traditional medieval restaurant in old town.

DAY 8: LAHEMAA NATIONAL PARK - DAY IN NATURE
After breakfast we will head to Lahemaa National Park the largest and very first protected nature reserve in the country. This day is to explore stunning Estonian nature with it’s forests, lakes and wetlands. We will do a short hike in the forest followed by an outdoor picnic lunch.
After a long day spent outdoors we will enjoy a farewell group dinner.

DAY 9: DEPARTURE
Goodbye and hope to see you again! Optional transfer to the airport.
